We are going to be having a special chat tonight (Saturday) at 10 p.m. EST time. We have just received word from Marie that Carly is going to try to make it. You can check to see what time that will be for your time zone at The World Clock.

We will be using the new chat format for this chat, so see below for the details. Hope to see everyone there!

The chat with Carly will be followed by the regular late night open chat at 12 a.m. EST time.

Because the open chats get very wild when Carly's family comes, only a few users will be able to talk at a time. 10 people will be selected for each chat and given 5 minutes to ask a question or talk. If you are interested in being added to the lottery, please send an email to chat@carlysangels.net with your name and chat room id (we need your id to give you a voice in the room). At the end of the question and answer period, we will do a short open chat where everyone can speak.

We have 4 slots filled for the chat by those that have already requested a place. We will draw 6 more people at random from all of the requests received by 3 p.m. eastern time.

im trying to get in through firefox but it keeps crawling. it has to be because there's so many ppl. It keeps telling me server too busy. I know my internet connection is fine though

btw amy, firefox is just a web browser like internet explorer. most mac users have it automatically on their computers. I'm on a windows dell and downloaded it to use on my computer. it probably isn't worth trying to get firefox now though if you don't have it because it's still not working for the chat for me

Cheryl just posted in the Messages from Carly & Her Family forum that were going to chat in the forum instead of using the chat room since it's locked up.

I wish I knew a little more about chat rooms and forums. But I guess I live in the dinosaur days, and as a result of this, No Chat For Me! :wall:
