I don't know about the AI audience in general but I know that most of the DC fans I've met online are also Carly fans - so I expect she'll get a great reception. :w00t: I heard someone use the word "WordSmith" last night on TV so I got all sentimental about our WordSmith threads at AI.com. The good old days... :)

And yes, Amy, I'm going to the buses tomorrow and we'll see what happens from here. I don't know yet if I'll go on Saturday (to the buses) or not...

Well good luck with the buses. I have been listening to some You Tube videos of Carly's performances lately and it sounds like she gets the best cheers of all the girls, so I hope she's well received at your shows too. I just love how people are yelling "We love you Carly" during the slow part at the beginning of Crazy on You. Make sure you do that at your shows. My sister and I are going to do it in Bridgeport too. Have fun.

I listened to Rickey.org's cellcast and it sounded like the crowd was very loud during Carly's set. YAY!!! I have not heard whether she came out to greet the fans before or after the show, so let's hope Shelly has some good stories for us.

I was just on IDF and apparently Carly didn't come out before the show. I hope Shelly got to meet her after.........there's nothing on AI.com or IDF atm to give us an idea of whether or not Carly came out after.......

I hope she got to meet her as well, although I've just read a review that said Carly didn't come out after the show either, and neither did half the Idols - strange.

I am excited to hear from Shelly about the KC concerts too. Where did you read that Carly didn't come out? I know she usually comes out either before or after each show, so that's strange. Maybe some of them got tied up with fans at the afterparty and couldn't make it outside. I'm going to the Sept. 6th show so I hope I get to meet her either before or after.

Interesting. I thought the crowd was pretty good both nights. Granted, they were much better the second night. After last night's show, the first thing Carly said to me when I saw her was "Wasn't the show tonight amazing?" Everything was better the second night - the crowd, the Idol's voices, EVERYTHING.

Honestly, I didn't notice (nor do I care) about other people during Carly's performances. I am totally and completely focused on her. But yeah, Carly got great responses both nights. :)

No, Carly didn't come out before either show and didn't come out after the first show. (I don't know about after the second show.) I heard from some fans that Carly and MJ didn't come out for the Oklahoma show either.

I wore my "I :heart: Carly" shirt the first time I met her. And the other shirt, I wore to the fences so she didn't see it. But the fans at the fences complimented me on it so :).

That's good to hear that she got great responses. Maybe that lady was just jealous because her husband is a Carly fan. So you did get to meet her after last night's show, right? Give us some details. How was it and what did you say to her/she say to you. Did you take pictures with her? I wonder why her and MJ didn't come out at all the first day. I am going to see the show in Bridgeport CT next Saturday and now I'm getting worried that she won't come out. Also, how were her performances both nights?
