I just started getting in on the hoopla and so far, I'm reading the first book and really like it. As pathetic as it sounds, I'm developing a crush on Edward, lol. The dude's a fictional character - which is the funny part but he's just so charming and smouldery...lmao..

ahaha i so showed you this series. and I AM COMPLETELY OBSESSED with the twilight series. i read them over and over again, i am currently re-reading twilight lol. (again) i am so excited for the movie you have NOOOO idea. lmao. and i am insanely in love wit Edward<3.

I seen the movie last night. It was really really good, I have to admit in some parts I was expecting more, but I absolutely loved the movie!

the book was way better than the movie, and the movie was still REALLY AMAZING!!! i died a little bit when edward sparkled lol.

bella is a lucky girl, no matter how fictional she may be.

I about died laughing when she walked in the classroom and the way his expression was when he looked at her looked like he was going to puke. I was like ouch.. :lmao: but I knew that wasn't the case of course. :P

I need to read the book. I bet the book is way better, some books are better then the actual movies because it goes into more detail of it all and the books are always atleast slightly different and adds a bit more to it.

HAHA! that was like in my top 10 favorite parts of the movie. the fan dramatically blows her hair and he puts his hand over his face hahaha it was great. my FAVORITE part was when alice twisted james's head off. idk why but i thought that was the funniest thing ever! i laughed most of the mirror scene lol i dont think it was supposed to be funny.

and yes, as AMAZING as the movie was, its just one of those things where the book is way better. no matter how bedazzling edward is in the movie.

I can't believe I haven't posted here yet, but I am so engrossed in Twilight right now. Josh got me into the books. I am nearly finished with Breaking Dawn. I read the first 3 in about a week and a half, I couldn't stop. When I finish BD I'm going to reread them all since I read them so fast, I want to read them again and savor the stories.

I am completely in love with the characters, esp. Edward - I could go on forever - he thinks he is such a monster, but he is so good. I love his gentleness.

I'm almost done with the first book. I took my time with this, I need to go ahead and buy the second one.

My favorite character in the book and movie is Alice, she's so spunky and spontanious and chipper! It's so funny and cute! Compared to the rest who are so serious and against Edward being in love with Bella, she's the most outgoing and open minded of them all. :P

Gosh its been so long that I have been on here, due to major 10 day power outage...dang ice storm... then schopol then christmas, that I totally missed this thread!!! ILOVE Twilight!!! The movie is amazing and so are the books, I am nearly done Breaking Dawn. I too love Alice, I think she was cast perfectly for the movie, aside from the fact that the actrice is actually taller than all the other girls there! But I love Carlisle, :beatingheart: maybe even more than edward!!

i've seen twilight 3 times :w00t: i must say it is best the second time you see it. the first time u compare it to the book too much and it seems choppy. the third time just seemed too long lol. but the second time its just really hilarious and seemed to flow very nicely :)

and i got twilight and new moon for christmas!!! i'm so excited i get to read them w/o borrowing them!

I LOVE TWILIGHT!!!!!!!! I have been reading it for 3 days and on page like 260 or something. I am at the part where he is showing her what the sun does to him on the saturday when they were supposed to be going to Seattle. Do you remember that part?

I got $60 for Christmas so i think most of it is going to be spent on getting the last 3 books lol. My mom said she wants to read it too and I am like, "You won't want to put it down." lol...

Now I want to see the movie too. does the movie just cover the first book?

Yea, I agree amy. My friend was going to let me borrow hers like a month ago but her younger brother started reading it and after like 1 or 2 weeks he was only on like page 20. but i am kinda glad because now i can keep it and read it whenever i want lol.

yeah the movie is just the first book. they're working on making a movie for the second book though :w00t: the second book is my favorite although most people think i'm crazy because of it lol. but seriously, this series is like a magnet lol. i would have these books at school and read like the dickens and everyone would call me a nerd and i barely heard them :P my grades kinda sliped cuz i was reading so much lmao!

and rob's hair is like carly's teeth. i thought it was fine before and now its just gonna take some getting used to :P but hey at least it looks clean now hahaha

yea, I agree about the hair... I was fine with the way carly's teeth were before and when she got them fixed, it took a while before I was used to seeing them like that. But it will be weird if his hair looks different in the second movie. but yea, it does look clean lol

I totally agree, it was definetley better seeing it the second time!!!! And I got them for Christmas too!!! I got the really nice boxed set of all four hard cover books, I love it, although, with the last 100 pages I have of Breaking Dawn I just stick with the library copy I have. No readon to ruin the nice ones that are mine!! :haha:

Bella is the same kind of person I pictured, everyone was, although Taylor looks like Pocohontus, he still suits it. Everyone does EXCEPT for "Edward" simply because in the book he was supposed to be extremely good looking, but in the movie he's not.. at all.
