Hey guys, is it just me or are you all missing Carly alot lately? While the tour was going on we were getting newspaper and tv interviews, concert reviews and pictures, etc., but now there's not much news on her. I know she's been very busy working in the studio, but it's hard not hearing anything. Don't you guys agree?

Are you clairvoyant or something? Cause I was going to say the same thing. Yeah, I'm missing Carly a ton. It's funny, two days ago I fired up the DVR to watch some Carly stuff. My lovely wife, Laura, was watching too. After a while Laura asked if we could watch something else. I said sure hon, I just needed to get some Carlification ©. She just shook her head and laughed (which was a pleasant surprise).
Ahh I kind went off topic. But yeah I'm missing Carly big time :cry:

Jay, I like your new word-you should copyright it-HAHA!!!! I have been watching some of her performance videos on YouTube lately, but it makes me miss her even more. I met her so many times on tour (three to be exact), so it seems like I kind of know her and I miss not hearing much about her lately.

Yeah, I do miss new Carly interviews, blogs, performances etc. but in a way I'd resigned myself to this before the tour even finished. I guess it's not so bad for me because I didn't see her live and haven't met her, but the way I see it is that things are quiet because good things are happening for her, that she just can't tell us yet, and that we should all be happy rather than sad, because Carly's finally getting to do what she's dreamed of :)

Very true Judith. We're all so happy that she is finally getting to do what she has been wanting to do for a long time-that's so wonderful for her. I'm not sad, just miss hearing from her.

I know that not hearing anything means she's been busy in the studio. Looking forward to the time when she can tell us all about it and we can celebrate with her. :heart: :party:

anyway. i miss her too. :cry: i'm going through major carly withdrawal. she just went away. no more interviews or pics or anything. i always find myself checking for updates subconsiously and i never get any more news. its like a huge empty break from the time tour is over and the album. i cant WAIT for her to put out an album.

Thanks Shelly. The lyrics on mine are from Here You Come Again, which is my favorite Carly song from the show (I just love her version of it), so I think I'll keep them.

I just looked up the lyrics of all the songs Carly performed on AI (to be honest, I competely forgt to look through Ultimate High!) and then found that beautiful line from CoY which is now my usertitle, then PMed Shelly and she did it for me. ^_^

Yes, you'll have to PM me the (Carly) lyric you want to use and I will change it. When you hit 1000 posts, you can change it to anything... anything appropriate, of course. B)

I totally agree! I literally miss Carly like I miss a friend or a family member. I've been living off all of the old stuff here lately. I really would just like to have some sort of an update. I know her mom has been pretty good at updating us in chats and I know that she is super busy, but I would feel much better to actually hear something from her. Plus it would totally make my day ;)

I would want mine to be somthing like "the show must go on" because i loved her singing that song but also coz it means to me that no matter what life throws at you no matter how much pain your in mentally or physicly that life goes on.

I'm starting to get worried/impatient as well. I guess I'm not so much worried as I am impatient because I have faith that Carly is working hard to produce the best album possible. I am, however, very impatient and I badly want to hear some news. It's killing me to not know what's going on with her and it's also killing me because I miss her so much. I just want to hear something from her..even if it is "hey I'm really busy!" I may not make the chat friday night but if I dont, I will be hoping that Marie will provide us with some good news.

Carly is going to release an album. That's a given. The question is, when, and with what label.

I could wait forever for her to release the album that makes her really happy. I guess I am so impatient about waiting to know if she is actually recording one!!

That's a good point Jay. The fact that I know Carly is going to release something because her passion for music is one of the reasons I'm staying so confident. We know that she is obviously "working on something" but unfortunately we are without detail

I'm sure all the good news will be pouring in soon!!

Of course I want to hear some news too but we need to be patient, guys. I mean, Carly could have released an album already with 19 and guess what? It would have been so un-Carly. I mean, Carly's voice would have been fabulous but they wouldn't have let Carly do the kind of music she wants to do - we all know that. So, please give her time to find the right record label, a label that will support her and promote her and generally treat her like the Superstar that she is. I do NOT want her fans to be stressing her out by demanding news on a record deal. As Jay said, Carly will record an album and it will be fabulous. PLEASE trust Carly and trust that she knows what she's doing... she will make the right choice at the right time.

As a reminder, do not ask Marie anything about Carly's record deal during our chats. If she knows something and can tell us, SHE WILL.

Yeah, I totally agree with you guys. I know it will be a while before her album is out, so just knowing that she has been signed is enough information for me.

Thanks Shelly, you always have a way of putting things into perspective for us and making us feel better. I would never hound Carly or Marie about her album, so you don't have to worry about me doing any of that. We support Carly in anything she decides and we do have so much faith in her.

I don't think any of us fans would hound or stalk Carly or Marie for the news. That is abnormal. I don't think it even needs to be said.

What isn't abnormal is wanting to know how she is and what is going on.
