Anyone watch ER? I started watching it probably 4 or 5 years ago and was pretty hooked for a while, but then stopped last spring because I was catching up on sleep from power dialing all night on Tuesday.

So I was a little lost watching the premiere last week. But I can't believe they killed off Pratt! WHAT?

But as long as it wasn't Sam or Abby. I :heart: Dr. Lockhart.

And I just read your first post again Cheryl - they killed off Pratt????? :o It doesn't air here until the Spring, so I had no idea what happened after the explosion!

That sucks, I liked Pratt - but I'm so much happier Sam survived, she's probably my favourite character now. ^_^

I didn't see the finale last year so I didn't know anyone was in danger. so I was shocked.

I miss the old characters too Nancy. I started watching ER late in the game so I don't know them all. I don't think I've ever seen a Clooney episode.

Worst moment ever was when Sandy died. I actually did not sleep at all that night because I was so upset.

Relax Cheryl, it's ok - I read spoilers for everything, I just hadn't actually realised it had started again, so I hadn't read a transcript! I really don't mind being spoiled. :)

I've never seen a Clooney episode either - I started watching about 4 years ago or so.

I used to watch it all the time i watched it just b4 luka nad abby got together, but now i dont watch it much coz i dont have time, but i think LUKA NAD ABBY ARE THE CUTEST COUPLE ONM THERE

Tonight's episode was quite interesting. That ER never fails to get in trouble somehow. RIP Dr. Pratt :cry:

Clooney I thought were the best seasons.I miss Mark as well.Such a sweet character I can`t believe he had to die.I miss all the originals and I know you have to move on,but sometimes memory lane can be fun and sad as well.

The sad thing is i have followed Abby and Lukas relation ship right through and i watched when they got married etc and even now i dont wacth it i watch Abby and Luka clips on the net :couples:

I have to resurrect this thread in the hope that someone will talk about the series finale - I watched it yesterday!

Oh man I missed it,Judith please tell me how it ended.I can't believe ER is over for good.

It ended with a lot of things coming full circle from the pilot:

24-hours of shifts at County was the focus.

a new intern who was pretty much like Carter was in the pilot - doubting herself but doing a good job.

Mark Greene's daughter Rachel coming to the ER as a prospective med student

Nurse Lily waking up Morris as she did to Greene in the pilot.

old credits!!!! :w00t: with all the current cast (starting with Noah Wyle of course) plus the old cast members who came back for the finale, and ending with 'and Angela Basset' as she's the current Chief.

the whole show ending with a huge trauma coming in and all the staff waiting outside to receive it - last words were Carter's: 'Dr Greene, are you coming?' then a full shot of County General while the ER theme was played.


And there were a load of nice moments too:

The opening of the Carter centre - Kem showed up, although she and Carter didn't really get any closure in their relationship (it actually looks as if it might be over between them)

Lewis, Weaver, Corday and Benton all showing up for the opening and then going out for drinks after.

Corday having problems at the rental store and having to drive a Hummer (made for a cute scene between her and Benton, one last time) :haha:

Gates and Sam pretty much getting back together (it just showed them holding hands, but that pretty much shows it) and Alex giving Sam a car for her birthday, plus Sam reuniting properly with her mother.

All the nurses who've been there since the pilot getting decent parts in the episode.

Neela appearing via videolink again.

Not that many of the annoying interns actually being in the episode :haha:


I've probably missed some stuff, but that's a rough summary minus the actual patient incidents.
