hey lovely angels! so one of the main reasons im even here has a lot to do with art. my experiences in the art/entertainment industry are scary similar to carly's experiences in the music industry (hence why she's my rolemodel). Also the lovely mel and cheryl allowed me to send some artwork to them for carly and i owe them a lot for giving me the opportunity to be here; and of course i owe a lot to carly, her mom and family for letting me share my art with them. soooo anyway i thought id share some photos/scans of some of my art. also if nebody ever wants some sort of art related gift- just let me know!

^this was the very first drawing i did of carly, i gave it to her in a collage i made for her in lexington...i almost fainted when her mom made it her profile pic for a while!



^Carly's doggies! this was actually the first drawing i did for carly. i think this one made her the most excited. i also gave this one to her in lexington- she pratically yelled "IT'S MY KIDS!!!"- best moment ever! in evansville she told me she had mailed it out to todd and he had put it over the mantle in their home- thats crazy!



^this was also in the collage i gave carly in lexington; i did it rarely quickly, so its not my fav cuz i see a lot i could of done to improve it. oh well i guess carly liked it

^this one is one of my favs. for carly's bday gift i decided to give her a songwriter's book. i bought a nice sketchbook and filled every page with drawings, artwork, quotes, and music lyrics from her fav artists. this was one of the drawings in it

^this is a painting i did, its freakin huge- 30 x 40...its actually not finished in this photo, anyways i like this painting because its an expressive, edgy, enchanting, and beautiful scene all at the same time...if u guys ever come and visit me in good ol' ky, its hanging in my room

Ahsley those are great! The one of her mom looks just like her. I like the dragon too, cause I love dragons and want a dragon tattoo. And the phoenix, very nice. oh and the one with Carly and Todd in the bar is especially good.

I've been trying to learn how to draw humans... cartoon characters, animals, scenery, I'm actually decent at, but humans no.. but your work is absolutely amazing ash i LOVE it!! :heart:

Your drawings are fabulous Ash!! :heart: I don't know much about art, but did u use just a regular pencil on those or something else? They're absolutely wonderful! Btw, what do those characters mean on the left side of the dragon?

yeah they're graphite pencils- bascily just fancy art pencils haha

the top symbol next to the dragon means dream (i think, that or love, i cant remember haha) and the bottom one means strength

haha ur too sweet! yes picking a picture would be difficult...those are definitely good ones though! i would go with either the top or bottom one, good headshots seem to turn out better. i think i actually considered doing the last one. it may be a little while before i can get to it, but i will definitely do it for ya- u gotta tell everybody where u got though ;) hehehe

...maybe a drawings would make a good christmas present for all of carlys lovely angels :thumbsup:

yep i got it and wrote you back. sorry i took so long but my family took a vacation to the mountains and we just got home last night (thursday) It was last minute, too. My mom decided that we would go on Monday and we left Tuesday so we were rushed to get ready to go before fall break ended but once we got there, we had so much fun :)
