Is anyone going?

I finally convinced my parents to let me go, so I'll be making the 8 hour drive down there. At least I'll be able to say I drove all night to get there. :haha:

I'm thinking about going - it's only a 6 hour drive from where I live.

Who else is jumping (or thinking of jumping) on the Tulsa train? :haha:

I can't go. I live in Virginia and it would take forever to get there. I would love to go to it though. I bet they'll all be up there hugging and crying at the end of the finale song.

Last night I told my wife I wanted to drive (all night) to Tulsa for the last show. But I forgot that we have plans for that weekend :angry: . That's when she told me "you can go see your girfriend if she makes it big". I corrected her ... saying "you mean WHEN, not IF".

That's funny what your wife said. I can't wait for her to do her own tour so we can listen to just her the whole time. My hoosband and sister say that I have a "girl crush" on Carly. I guess all of us women who are Carly fans do. She's so wonderful that we just can't help it.

Yep, I remember that thread. There's one on her IDF forum too. I am really getting excited cuz we're going to our third show on Saturday in Bridgeport CT (were driving over 8 hours from Virginia). I am hoping to meet Carly before or after the show, but it's supposed to rain all day, so I'm not sure if they can set up some barricades inside or what. We loved the other two shows so much that my sister and I wanted to go one more time before it's all over. I can't wait to hear Carly sing live again.

Awww, Jay! It would have been AMAZING had you been able to go. I'm sure you would have gotten to meet a lot of Carly fans too. Maybe even me... :D

believe me, that was one reason I wanted to go! It would be awesome to meet some crazy Carly fans like you, Shelly. Tulsa isn't really that far from me, maybe 7 hours.

It's 6 hours for me. And I'm still considering going... :D

I was going to bring my little cousin to the show(she's 6, and her birthday is sunday and she wanted carly as a present lol), was all set to buy the plane tickets..when my friend's car broke down. I borrowed her $1000 to fix it, and now we can't go. I will just have to catch her solo tours *sigh*

It's today. The last time that the Top 10 will be performing together. Unless there is a reunion. :(

I doubt there'll be a reunion anytime soon (on stage anyway - but they're all going to Kristy's wedding, so that's a reunion of sorts) but hopefully they're all heading on to bigger things - maybe we'll have some concrete news soon.

I read on the david board that there is a tattoo artist there for carly that just showed up. Also apparently Carly went to Target and got props for the Mavid Dance tonight :P

Ooh wonder what tattoo Carly's getting (and will DC get another one too?).

The props thing sounds interesting too, can't wait for video of that! :haha:

personally i would love them all to do something funny during the last song. She said the last number is going to be outta this world

I'd love them to do an extra song or something tonight - something no-one's expecting. I think Mavid might turn into the whole 10 dressed up and imitating MJ and DC ^_^

I wanted to go to the Tulsa show soo bad but unfortunately I live in New England and am currently in college so there was no way! :(
It's definately going to be an emotional concert! The last concert of the tour! This was by far the best season!!! I'll miss all of them being together!!! But it's time now for them to get started on their successful careers!


Thank you to all Carly fans..love you all! But the work doesn't stop here for us. We need to keep sticking together to keep this fansite alive and show Carly that we are by her side till the end! She deserves every bit of success that comes her way and we need to help her out. Together we will make Carly rise to the top of the music charts! THERE'S NO FAN LIKE A TATER FAN!!! xo

It was great listening to the last show (even though I only stayed up until Pride :haha: ), the crowd seemed amazing, looking forward to seeing vids of it, then we can look to the future :) Thanks for the text updates as well Mel, Marie relayed them back to us - the cellcast quality meant we couldn't hear what Carly said most of the time.

:hug: It wasn't a chore, I had so much fun last night. I'm paying it for it now though - trying to do english literature that's due in tomorrow :haha: But I'd still do it again anytime - wonder can we keep the chat going as long this Friday? ^_^

Hey guys, I'm back from the Tulsa show and it was absolutely amazing!!! The crowd was out of control-the energy in the place was overwhelming. The top 10 got sprayed several times with silly string (esp. Carly & Cookie) during the finale song and they stayed on stage after wards hugging each other in the dark while the crowd went nuts.

I was so lucky yesterday that I still can't believe it all happened like it did. I met Carly at the barricades and she knew my name since I met Marie last weekend, so she gave me after party passes. I also hooked up with Cheryl, Melanie & Shelly and hung out with them and Carly during the after party. I had a blast chatting with them and Carly about her future plans and about the last night's show. She did get a new tatoo on her neck right behind her ear. It's some sort of symbol for the tour, but I don't know what it means. I am going to post some pictures in the tour reviews forum and then I'll write a recap later (I'm exhausted from travelling from Virginia to Tulsa, so I need to rest).

I filmed Carly's whole set... and I think I did a pretty good job. Mel will have it up soon... :)
