Title: Cleveland Ohio 9/4
carlysmyidol - September 5, 2008 01:20 PM (GMT)
Here is a great review on Cleveland.com of last night's show :
While it remains to be seen if "Idol" will be a stepping stone to bigger and better things for any of these overnight sensations or just another bridge to nowhere, there was no denying the diamond-in-the-rough talent of Carly Smithson. Her spirited take on Heart's "Crazy on You" was especially impressive.
"It's so easy to sing in front of this many people, as opposed to one Simon Cowell," Smithson quipped, getting a laugh at the expense of the acerbic "Idol" judge.

you'd think they would've sorted her mic problems by now - she's being having trouble with it for weeks, going by the pictures!
Love those pictures, and that first review especially
