Our girl did great, and I am proud!

Here are some pictures of me with Carly during our after show meeting in Charlotte (sorry about the red eye-i forgot to fix it). My face is all red from the excitement of getting to talk to her, but the two of them look great. It was really cool that she remembered us from the DC show a couple days before. I met her briefly there but didn't get to talk to her much. She was absolutely amazing in concert and I was screaming my lungs out the whole time she sang. I especially liked Bring Me to Life and Crazy on You (I just love the slow part at the beginning of Crazy On You where she kicks when she stands up). I was fortunate enough to catch her attention at the outside autograph session after the show and I got to take pictures with her and Michael. I (along with some other fans ) talked to her for about five minutes while we waited for Michael to finish up and take the picture. She was so nice and she looked so pretty with her hair longer. It was also really cool to hear her accent up close.

I will write a longer review later today, but I wanted to tell you guys about my awesome Carly (and Michael) moment last night in Charlotte. Most of the Idols came out after the show to greet the fans, and they worked their way from one end of the long line to the other. I got a quick picture and autograph of both of them, but no personal meeting (that came later). As Carly was getting ready to go back inside, she walked right past me and I patted her arm and told her she was my favorite and asked her if she would please take a picture with me. She stopped and said "hey, I recognize you from the DC show the other day" (I couldn't believe she remembered me-I met her briefly there and got a Marly picture of them, but someone stuck their arm in the way and blocked her out). Anyway, I told her that my other picture got messed up, so she took a picture with me and then went to get Michael so they could take another Marly picture with me. He was on the other end signing autographs, so she came back to us and talked to us for about five minutes (she was so sweet and looked gorgeous). We talked about our love for Heart most of the time. I told her she should sing on stage with them and she agreed. Anyways, Michael finally came down to us and I got a picture of me with both of them. That totally made my year !!! They had to go since the buses were getting ready to leave, so I thanked them and that was it. I have always been a huge Carly fan, but after getting a chance to see what a sweet person she is, I am now an even bigger fan, plus I got to hear her accent. By the way, she was absolutely amazing in concert and I think she sounded even better last night than she did in DC the other day. I will try to post some pictures later today after I get them developed.

Carly Smithson Bring Me To Life, Crazy on you, I drove all night. Carly is an amazing talent. She is absolutely gorgeous. I loved her outfit. She completely commanded the stage. Her set blew us away. Particularly the first song. I was incredibly impressed with her. And can I say the woman has great boobs? Seriously. Heather and I were both thinking it at the same time and Heather says would it be weird to tell her her boobs look good? I started laughing and said I was JUST thinking that.

I forgot my camera at home and had to use my brother's so the pictures of her performing are not the best quality so I am going to post the pictures of when I met her. I didn't get to meet her before the show though, but I got a picture of her, but after I was able to meet her and take plenty of her.
