I just wanted to pop by and say hi to everyone on here.
It is my first time on any forum (is that what its called) help me out here!

Anyway I am probably in the wrong topic or place but i will get the hang of it soon as i nearly have on our fan page.

I spoke to Carly last night before the show and she told me she met Shelly and she said she is the sweetest and she was so thankful of all the hard work you put in Shelly, I would like to say the same to you. Thank you Thank you...

Can I say while I am here, there are just some people that just work quietly in the background on Carly projects,... you all know who you are, they give all there time to do good for Carly and Never look for anything in return,

This does not go unoticed and will not be forgotton.

These people just work on project after project and keep all the fans motavated to further Carly's career.

Well can I go on record to thank you all for all your hard work.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Marie, it was so nice of you to post something here. I am sure you are very proud of Carly as all of us are. We are so happy to hear that things are going well for her on the tour and with her possible record contract. Please tell Carly that everyone here loves her and wishes her the best in everything she does and we'll continue to support her all the way. She is so talented and really deserves everything that she wants in her career. By the way, I am going to see the Sept. 6th show in Bridgeport CT, so I am hoping to be able to meet Carly there. I've never really had the chance to before (I haven't got round to sorting out a myspace and adding Carly's :blush: ), but I wanted to thank you as well for being so awesome to all the fans and doing all the hard work that you do as well - it doesn't go unappreciated.

Like others have said before me, I only post here and contribute to other things because i want to thank Carly for the past 8/9 months of sheer enjoyment and basically just for her ridiculously amazing voice and personality! Hopefully some day I'll get to meet her and tell her all that in person rather than just through letters, but until then I do what I can :)

And I'll echo the thanks to Cheryl, Melanie, Shelly and everyone else as well - I've found such great friends over the past couple of months since I came out of lurking on all the forums, and especially since I jioned here, and it wouldn't have been possible without you guys, and without Carly.

Hey Marie!!

I am a newbie too on this forum, so I'm also still trying to learn how to do everything. It is so nice of you to post on this website. I appreciate everything you have done with Carly's myspace and all of the updates you have given us. It truly makes my day to hear about her. Words cannot explain how proud I am of all of your daughter's success and I cannot imagine how proud you must be of her. She truly is an amazing person and a true credit to today's music industry. I can certainly see very bright things in her future and I am proud to say that I will be supporting her every step of the way.

I am glad Carly really appreciates her fans. Trust me, it showed when I met her in Houston. She seemed so grateful to everybody there and after seeing that, I knew that she really enjoys what we do. I would do absolutely anything to bring Carly joy and happiness because like Shelly said, we owe her for all the joy she has brought us. She honestly has made the past 8 months for me so much brighter.

Again, thank you Marie for posting on here and hopefully we can talk more now. Tell Carly hello for me!

Carly fans are amazing and I have to agree with Cheryl, I have met some amazing people because of Carly and I am so grateful for it! And we are all so excited on the exciting news for Carly and a recording contract even though we are not allowed to know much yet, it's just getting this far is a true blessing because we've seen since the very beginning how much this means to Carly and how hard she has been working and we are so happy and proud of her for never giving up.

And thank you Marie for all the hard work you have put into her official music myspace page along with the rest of the family, you guys are doing an absolutely amazing job and we're are so thankful that you are here to support Carly and the fans when you really don't have to do all of this. Firstly I am overwhelmed by the fans messages to me here, it is really so sweet of you all to welcome me here I am so teary right now after reading all the kind words you left, (I really have to stop gettting so overwhelmed as I cry too easy)
Anyway you are all something else.

I came on to share a little of my journey with you guys.
I arrived in Boston to some friends of ours who live here, they are ex Irish army and have served in the American army (special forces) for some yrs after meeting an American girl in Ireland etc, they are all so brave and we are so very proud of them,they were actually voting for Carly while they were away on duty,they voted through the embassy as they are allowed to vote that way, is that cool or what. I shed a little tear when they told me that last night over dinner.

So today we drive to Bridgeport to meet with Carly and the gang, I am so looking forward to seeing my baby she is a bit special if you know what I mean.

We will hang out for as long as we can as we are staying in the same hotel, so it should be easy.
We also get to hang out with my very special BF's Mel and Cheryl Yahoo!! super excited there too.

My only regret is that I can not stay for the Evensville show as I and Martin have work commitments to get back to in Ireland and I wont get to meet Shelly and Josh who have helped us on the site so very much, and have become great friends and confidents along the way.

Another person whom I would really love to get to meet is Kelli from Savanagh and I hope is safe from this storm coming, Kelli knows how special she is, (be safe Kelli) and then I dont know when i am going to get to Israil but sure you never know Tali, bu t to them i will say again I thank you and you are special people.


I brought my video camera and i HOPE i get to do a Vblog or 3 with Carly and some of the gang, I am not promising as they are so busy all the time but I will try my hardest.

I am so looking forward to this next few days and hope I can share them with you.
I will pop back and report when I can.

So Its maps at the ready Im doing the navigation and Martin is doing the driving bless him, so we will probably get lost miss the concert not get to do a v blog and Ah no only joking!!!!

Hi Marie-I am so glad that you finally get to see Carly and you'll be so proud of her when you see her perform live. She is awesome!!! I did talk with Carly about the vlog thing in KC and she said she has a ton of footage but just needs to splice it all together. But YES, I would love for you to put your video camera (and maybe even that FLIP camera!) to good use while you are there! :)

I really wish I could join you guys and I'm bummed about Evansville... but we will take lots of pictures and videos which we will send to you, don't worry. I'm very excited that you get to see Carly perform on the AI Tour - it really is an amazing experience! I definitely got teary hearing all the cheers and applause for our girl. :carly:

I'm sad that the Tour is coming to an end but I know it's time for the next step on Carly amazing journey. I can't wait to see what happens next.

So I met Mel and Chryl last night!!!!!!

We had dinner at a spanish restaurant near our hotel, we talked and ate and talked and ate and then talked some more.......

We laughed so much about oh so many things.
Carly really knows them so well at this stage,

The girls tattoo's are really beautiful as the girls are themselves, they are so genuine and are so loyal too, And such FUN!!!!they are really my type of people.

So guess what its raining in New haven, can you believe it!!! I leave wet Ireland and it follows me...

I got to the hotel and Carly was away doing press or something so she sent me a message to say she will be back in 1 hour, and then as she pulled up outside in the limo she called me and I jumped in the lift and it reminded me of Carly in the lift when she got the news (after Paula's dragging it out) that she was in the top 24.

I was trying go keep the tears in, as i was so excited to see her,
Martin has started to carry tissues with him.

So tonight i get to go to the concert and i can not wait, yes I will bring the tissues with me cause I am gonna be at it agian.

I will let you know how i get on and who I meet, I will try use the camera too, I took it with me last nite but it is still in my purse!!!! Sorry i got too excited.

I am meeting the girls later today when i see what i have to do with Carly, as I want to spend as much time with her as possible.

So i am off to buy an umbrella Ha Ha..............

I am Amy (from Virginia) and I spoke with you in the arena lobby during intermission in Bridgeport. It was so nice talking with you and Martin about Carly and how much of a fan or hers I am. I really appreciated you taking the time to visit with me and take a picture.

I'm so glad that you enjoyed Carly's performances (she was amazing!!!) and it was great that she gave you a shout out between songs and that you got to spend some time with her. I did not get to meet Carly (thanks to tropical storm Hannah), but it was so nice getting to talk with you.

Tell Carly that everyone here wishes her the best and we'll always support her in her future career. Also, I hope she got the Irish Blessing plague that I gave to Chikezie to bring to her (he was so nice to do that).
