Yes, I'm back! I missed you guys terribly! :hug:

Of course, I will be posting my reviews but please be patient. I have a lot to catch up on, Carly stuff and non-Carly stuff. Until then, I will post some random thoughts about my experience:

1. Yes, I got to meet Carly. TWICE. It was unbelievable.

2. The crowds at the shows were AMAZING. Like unbelievable. DC cried during his performance the first night... he was so happy to be home. The second night, many of the Idols said it was one of their best shows - Carly said it was her favorite thus far! :D

3. I got to see Andrew Cook, DC's parents, Kimberly Caldwell and Jeff Archuelta. I saw Daddy Archuelta more times that I can count. And Andrew came into the show the second night right behind me with his girlfriend.

3. Because of the shows, I really warmed up to Brooke and Jason. Still not a fan of Syesha OR Kristy... for many different reasons.

5. I gave Carly all the gifts and everything. More about that later (with pictures!)

6. I met three amazing Carly fans that drove 7 hours to see her... but they didn't get to meet her - I felt SO BAD! They said they would come post here so :bye: to you guys if you read this.

7. It was hot and I got really sunburned while standing for a total of 9 hours at the fences.

8. David A wears the most weird, distracting suit during his set.

Yeah, meeting Carly should probably be number one, huh? I'll change that. My brain is just fried. I haven't really eaten or slept much the past two days. :haha:

I've probably checked about 5 times in the past 2 days to see whether you'd got to meet her or not - and every review I read that said 'no, Carly didn't come out before or after' made me freak out! Did you meet her yesterday or both days, I've only read 1st night reviews (no-one seems to want to review KC on the forums!)

No, Carly didn't come out before the show either day. The first day it was because she had tons of press. I don't know why she didn't the second day - I forgot to ask her.

I got to talk to her both days. :)

Tons of press that has so far yielded one rather amazing interview :haha:

I'll not press you for details now, I'll wait (im)patiently for the review. ;)

Yeah, people kept asking her when she is coming out with an album. She just kept saying "Soon. As soon as I possibly can." She's very excited!

Oh, and I hadn't heard yet if she came out the second night (she didn't the first night) but if she didn't, it's probaby my fault! :haha: While I was talking to her, the secuity guard had to tell Carly is was time to go (it was like 11:30) and she still wanted to go talk to David Cook. I assumed she didn't make it out...

Oh well, at least you got to talk to her :haha: Does that mean you got AP passes? :o

I figured you must have had after party passes since she didn't come out at all both nights. Now I'm really getting worried that I won't get to meet her on Saturday. I know she sometimes doesn't come out during the day but she usually does at night. How do you get AP passes or whatever so you can still meet her?

Did Carly give you the AP pass? I'm curious on how everyone is getting them.

The best way to get passes is to go to the fences and wear a Carly shirt or have a Carly sign.:)

Shelly, did she give them to you and when was this? I have a shirt with her, Michael and David Cook on it and a poster that she signed in Washington DC (which I had laminated-it looks so cool), so I hope if she comes out in the afternoon she'll see both of them. Plus I'm going to tell her that she's my favorite if I get to meet her. Maybe that will help. Do you think maybe I need a shirt of just her to get her attention better (it's a little late to make one now)?

Just went on Youtube and there's video of her signing autographs after the show second night, so you didn't make her too late to sign after all Shelly :haha:

I just saw a couple of videos posted on You Tube of her signing outside in KC, so she did come out the second night. One of them had the fans chanting her name when she was running to the end of the line-it was so cute!!!

Yay! I'm glad she got outside the second night! :)

I forgot to mention that there was no Mavid dance the first night. I'm guessing DC and MJ were too busy doing press to come up with anything. The second night, however, they pulled out some pom-poms and were dancing with those... :haha:
