...and role model!

After season 5, I just knew I wouldn't get into the show like I did with Kat. I voted the whole 2 hours, I dedicated and still do dedicate and support her as much as I can.

Well, I was definitely wrong! Carly Smithson is my last though... I'd much rather dedicate my time and show as much support to her and Kat, then to get caught up in that show anymore.

I personally am not a huge fan of that show, but if there is someone on there I click with and find as an inspiriation then yeah I will dedicate time to it. I don't just watch the show, like them on the show, vote, go see them in tour, then move on.

Not sure how many here has the McPheever or found any interest in Katharine, but I adore her... She is an amazing singer and although she was stuck with RCA her first album... Now she is off to big and better things with the movie she is starring in that comes out tomorrow "The House Bunny". And also her second album that will hit stores in spring of '09.

It will not stop me from supporting Carly though... Those are the only two I will pull all nighters for to get things done if I have to.

It's really funny though... My friend Laurie who I met through Katharine, along with a few other amazing people, when they found out I was watching Idol this year, they all guessed the person I like is Carly Smithson.. It kind of surprised me that they just knew she'd be the one I would be interested in. Laurie is a Brooke friend and I guessed her because Laurie reminds me a lot of Brooke and her genre is something Laurie does favor in.

...but on with it, Katharine McPhee is an amazing performer and now an actress! :)

I had McPheever. I saw the live tour just once that year because of Katharine. I adored her. Of course we saw her right after she broke her foot so her set was shorter :( But yeah. Oh! We saw The House Bunny last night. It was cute! Kat was gorgeous as usual. I liked the end credits a lot. hehe

But yeah, I voted for Katharine a lot, but not like i did for Carly. Carly was nonstop voting until the pads of my fingers were sore. And of course I never owned and ran a website for Kat either. Still love her though....

mel- awe yeah katharine went through a lot with that tour, the first 3 weeks not even being able to be on tour, then once she is she fractures her foot! Oh and I loved the movie The House Bunny, it was so funny and she did an amazing job, I hope she continues to do more acting.

Well course I missed the season Kat was on and sorry now that I did.But I have a beautiful daughter to explain my reasons for missing.
I live in this small town where radio reception sooks and is hard to get.I also have one car without a radio which sooks too.This being making it very hard to stay in touch with new music artists.But now with having a computer has helped me to get back in touch with things and this makes me happy.
I have recently found out about Kat and glad that I did,she is amazing.And also has my support along with Carly Smithson.
Such amazing voices that I have missed out on.But not anymore.I actually found Kat on Jennie's myspace and added as a friend,now I too can stay in touch and updated.Yay!And she sings my daughters favorite Barbie song.

ok i definitely can't!!! :P kat was AMAZING tonight! i wasn't expecting the outcome because most guests who are artists and prefer to JUST be the victim, but she played both roles and did great! and she had me in tears and i had to keep reminding myself of course that she's an actor playing a character! :lmao:

I finally received Kat's self titled cd yesterday and let me tell you-it's amazing.I had it on repeat all day and listening to it again today.
Kat is an amazing artist,and if you haven't heard this you should check it out.It's not that often I find a cd that I love the way that I love this one. :thumbsup: :heart:

Nadia and I decided at the last minute to go this show and two and a half hours into our trip she came down with the nasty stomach bug going around our town,needless to say we had to turn around and go home :(

Anyhow we did get to see it live on tv and her performance was amazing.Im so excited I can't stand it. :w00t:

The show was very emotional and Kat's perfromance of Somewhere brought tears to my eyes.

I didn't get to go either, which I had planned for the past couple months when I found out, but next time Nancy we both have to make set plans! It's a done deal then and no if, and's, or but's about it! :P

I'm proud of Kat, although there were quite a bit of technical difficulties the night before she still handled it like a pro last night and did an absolutely amazing job! Just makes me dislike my job even more from keeping me from it! <_< but next time no job will interfere.
