I love love love "What I've Found" I love every bit of it. It's so calming and peaceful. There's even a little Irish sounding tune at the start of the song. I actually listen to the album when I'm stressed or trying to fall asleep because it soothes me.

I also really like "No One Come Around" from the Beautiful You single. It's not technically an Ultimate High track, but close enough.

I love Ultimate High. I listen to it all the time. My faves in order:

1) Young Love, especially right around the 1:20 mark. Good song. Very catchy and fun.

2) Surface Wound is amazing. Especially the opening lyrics.

3) Beautiful You. Exactly. (and I cannot help but see and hear her mall performance of this one in my head every time I listen to the track, LOVE IT!)

4) I'm Gonna Blow Your Mind. Come on, it's just so sexy.

5) What I've Found is lyrically her best song on UH. I love the words, they touch me & her vocals are flawless.

6) No One's Safe From Goodbye has amazing lyrics as well. "hey you, asleep in my room" and I love how passionate she sounds when she delivers each line

7) Get You Off. Another truly fun track! I can relate to the desperate message in this song

8) You'll Never Meet God (If You Break My Heart) i just enjoy the lyrical flow and the melody. you can hear so much of the new radicals in this track

9) I Need A Little Love. For these lyrics alone, this song is amazing: "Well I’m too drunk to drive you home And I’m so famous I’m unknown I feel you everywhere but still I’m all alone"

10) No One Comes Around. Again, these lyrics kill me. The entire song is awesomely filthy and I love it.

11) Rip In Heaven. I love the way she sings "jesus take this out of my hands" gorgeous

12) Just Missed The Train. It's a good song but not my fave track.

13) All Kinds of People. Eh. It's not my fave.

Ok, I've finally heard all the tracks once. My favorite is "What I've Found", amazing vocals on that one. Second fav is "Just Missed the Train", I love it. "Get You Off" is my least favorite. I'll need to listen a few more times to get a better feel for the other tracks. Overall the album is truly better than I had anticipated.

Melanie mention Carly's mall appearance. She did a mall appearance not 15 miles from me, and literally 1/4 mile from my best friend's house. *sigh* If I had only known ....
