As a side note, if you donate to the "gift basket" fund, you'd basically donating to the Evansville fund. Right now, we are in the midst of figuring things out... once we do (sometime this week), we will be posting THE PLANS. I'm super excited as I think Carly is going to :heart: it all... :w00t:

I am so excited about the Evansville show! We have quite a few Carly fans going now and I think it's going to be AMAZING! :w00t:

I'm buying a new camera this week and it has "YouTube capture" on it which means I can record video and upload it quickly to YouTube. SO... what this means for everyone here is that I'm going to film as much of our experience in Evansville as I can to share with you guys. :hug:

Cheryl and I are working out the plans but know that Carly is going to :heart: it. And remember that I'd love to give her your birthday cards, letters, etc. :)

Aw, thanks, Judith! I will definitely record stuff before Carly comes out... you know, show everyone what we did for Carly. Now, once she comes out, I may not as I'll probably have my focus elsewhere. ;)

For those going to the show: We are making plans to go get a tattoo together! It will be the same tattoo and it will commemorate both the show and this whole crazy Carly experience we've had. It will be small and fairly simple. If you want to join us, please PM me as we'll probably make appointments next week to make sure we get in.

Wow, it sounds like you guys are going to make Carly's birthday so amazing !!! I don't live anywhere near Indiana, so I can't go. I am going to Bridgeport CT on Sept. 6th so I'm going to try to remember to tell her happy early birthday if I meet her (that is if I don't get so excited and forget). You guys have fun in Evansville and come back and tell us all about it (plus bring pictures).

Yeah, Indiana isn't anywhere near me either... try nine and a half hours. :haha:

I'm in Virginia, so it's a one to two day drive for me to Indiana. I'm really not sure how many miles. Connecticut is still almost 9 hours but my sister and I want to see the show one last time before the tour ends, so we're making the trip to Bridgeport. We've already seen it twice and everyone thinks we're nuts, but who cares. We love our Idols!!!

I think most of us here are a little crazy - CarlyCrazy! :lmao: But I hope you have fun in Bridgeport!

Yep, we sure are. Everyone keeps telling me that I am obsessed with Carly. I just think she's an amazing singer and such a cool person. I admire her so much and I love to hear her sing. If that means I'm obsessed, then oh well-I can handle that.

I'm not jealous at all :rolleyes: . Can you post a pic of the tattoo you're getting? Who all is getting it? It sounds like you all are going to have a blast. Wish I could be there.

Well, I'm getting it for sure - not sure about everyone else. Mel and I spent HOURS designing it last night - not that it's complicated, we just couldn't decide - so there isn't a picture or anything. It's going to be pretty cool and yeah, we'll take pictures! :)

My spirit will jump on a plane and fly 7 hours to Evansville to be with you guys :haha:

Well, I just spent WAY too much on a new camera (I broke my other one taking pictures of my tattoo! :haha:) and a new memory card so I'm sure I'll take plenty of pictures (and videos) to share. :carly:
