What exciting things are you up to today??

Me? Well, it's Sunday so I'm going to RELAX and enjoy my day off before I have to go back to work tomorrow. I need to work out... I need to work on Carly's scrapbook... but we'll see if I actually get anything accomplished. :lmao:

Slept late this morning (7:30) since I was on the boards until like 12:30 AM. Cooked scrambled eggs, bacon, and oatmeal for all (I always cook b-fast on Sunday). Went to Michael's craft store and bought another green T shirt for the tour (since I ruined my first one) and something for a gift for Carly. Came home and started making the gift, but had to stop (for reasons I won't get into). Then I did the yard work in 101 degree, humid Houston air. Then I cooled off with a beer on the patio.
And here I am. Now I gotta clean the swimming pool.

It's 97 (heat index of 100) degrees here! Whew...

I hope it's not this hot for my Carly shows! (Wait, who am I kidding? This IS the Midwest. :haha:)

^^ I hear ya. August is usually the hottest month in Houston. I've lived here all my life, so it doesn't bother me. But I hope Carly can handle it.

Oh, for the rest of my day ...... I cleaned the pool, then managed to get the gift made (best part of the day!). Grilled some chicken and ate dinner.

Jay - I'm glad you got your Carly gift done! And isn't it so hard to write Carly a letter? You don't even want to know how many drafts I did of the one I sent her...

As for today? I'm just working. All day. And it's hot outside. 89 but "feels like 99." Lovely.

I need to reserve a hotel room for my Carly trip at the end month. Hotels are expensive. :(

Oh, and the gift I got Carly arrived today in the mail and it's so perfect. I will take a picture of it and post it AFTER I give it to her. It's just so... perfect. :w00t:

I'm going to attempt to write my letter to her tomorrow, but i have no idea where to start. It's so much harder for me because I haven't met her and won't be able to, so everything I want to say has to go into it.......

As for today, did nothing most of the day, researched some flights for my USA trip next summer, then had dance rehersals and now I'm home and heading to bed soon because I have to work early tomorrow.

Well I had really had a hard time with the letter. I wanted to keep it short, but it still ended up over 2 pages long. Guys I think have a harder time with letters, especially when writing to a girl.

89 deg, is that all? Haa, that's nearly fall weather in my neck of the woods!

Sorry, I am teasing about the gift. But I still have three weeks left and I don't want someone to run out, get it and give it to her before my show. Not that I think any regular posters would do this but you never know about lurkers... :angel:

Today? I went to work then I went and got my Carly-tattoo. Now I'm off to my second job. What a day! :rolfl:

Today, I'm working, working and then working some more. Like a total of 14 hours. *sigh*

Tomorrow I'm going to camp! I'm really excited, but I'm sad because it means no access to Carly, and no talking to Carly fans for two weeks! How will I survive?

Wow 2 weeks! I was only gone for 3 days this last week and I thought I was going to die without a computer to check up on Carly :P

I didn't last my entire 4 day holiday - I was online from the hotel checking for Carly updates :haha:

Thats not fair my hotel didnt have a computer :wall: What hotel doesnt have a computer these days?!?!

It was £1 for 10 minutes - I spent £5 just to check up on Carly news :haha: And I gave up an hour of wandering around London as well.

Do you live in England or were you just visiting?

I live in ireland, so I was just visitng - I've been there a few times though, so an hour given up for Carly didn't really bother me :haha:

Today I'm working, per usual. I think I'm going to work on my concert t-shirt(s) and maybe chat with Cheryl tonight. :shy:

last night i was up till about 4 on these boards and now its 5:51am and i am heading into a LONG DAY lol but i'll be ok i have to get ready for Divisionals at our race track in Acton and its going to be lotz of fun but i wont have internet out there!!!!!!! so 4 days without Carly might just kill me!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I'm preparing another package to send to Shelly. I needed to find a FedEx ship center or whatever. I went online and found the nearest location. Left the office to go there ..... but the place doesn't exist. Back to the office and chose the second nearest location. Left again and wouldn't ya know it, there's a huge apartment building where it was supposed to be. %#@!*^ FedEx schmedex :angry: . Back to the office. I know there's a Mailboxes Etc (UPS) about 2 miles from my house, so I'll just go there after work, hopefully.

I was getting exam results, coffee with friends and getting my hair dyed today, doing nothing tomorrow and working all day Saturday.
