from reading tweets from Marty, John and Rocky, it sounds like the demos are complete for a batch of WATF songs - not sure how many, but I did see this tweet from John:

So it looks like it'll be a few weeks at least before they're back in the studio to record the tracks.

So what else do we know or don't know?

Label - sounded like something was in the works, but since that blog by John there hasn't been so much as a peep on this, so can't really tell what the status is.

Tour dates - Dates are unknown although all band members have hinted it's going to happen and will be a big tour & will be international.

Music - what will be released & when? Will they release an EP, just a couple songs (as they said when they first formed the group), or a full album? And of course when will it happen? Seems like they've been pretty tight-lipped about this, so it's hard to know. As for when I think the best we can guess is in the first quarter of 2010.

As far as the number of songs and whether they're doing a full album or an EP, I remember seeing a tweet a couple weeks ago from Rocky that they had around 12 songs demo'd, so maybe they've done more since then. I'd think that would be enough for an album but we don't know for sure (but they have all mentioned an album in tweets and chats) . Hopefully while they're all taking a break, we'll get some updates on the label, album, tour, etc. (crossing fingers). :shamrock:

Looks like Carly found a new Irish Monster drink that she likes. This picture is hilarious!!

Carly tweeted that she's going to New York City tomorrow with the band guys. Remember the last time they went was to talk to a record label, so hopefully this trip means some good news is coming. Here's her tweet and remember this picture from last time-so cool!! :

One more thing-I googled that label that John mentioned in his blog (Universal Republic) and they are located in New York City. Sounds promising!!!

I hope so too, Amy. and Marie's status changed, she said she was very excited. I am too!

Hopefully this is finally the big news - though we'll see when they decide to announce it as Carly will be out of the country the following 2 weeks...

Sounds interesting-the guy who did the desert photoshoot (Douglas Sonders) tweeted this to Rocky today. He also tweeted Carly last week with something similar. Maybe they're doing a new photoshoot for an announcement or for the album. Sounds promising!!!

New pictures of Carly recording vocals in the studio today. She told us in the chat last night that she's doing one song today, then they record strings & choir Thursday thru Saturday. Then vocals start back up on Monday and last for the rest of the month. Yay-hope they post some videos!!!
