Hey guys. I read something new about Carly on Wikipedia today that I hope is true. It says that in addition to the WATF CD, she recently confirmed on Twitter that she's also gotten back to her solo project. If that's true, I hope she gets it out there before the end of the year. We've all been waiting forever to get our hands on it, so hopefully it won't be long before that happens. But here's what concerns me: Has she put the scrapped solo album back together, or is she starting all over again with a new one? I can imagine how hard it would be to go all the way back to square one with something she'd already put so much time and energy into. So let's hope she's just picking up where she left off on the project she was putting the finishing touches on when Ben and the guys asked her to join them. And if we do end up getting that CD while we're waiting for the WATF one, let's make doubly sure we do everything we can to get it to #1 on the charts in its first week of release. It's something we've all dreamed about for over a year, and Carly is depending on us to keep it from becoming another UH. We certainly don't want that to happen, do we?

I wouldn't believe anything you read on Wikipedia since Carly and her management don't update that information. I think people are misunderstanding what she said on Twitter. She didn't say she was gonna finish her solo album, she said she was using some of the music she wrote for it on the project with the band. Just like she did with Bury Me Alive. She has told us that the band signed with a label and they are going to announce it soon. She is in the band now and is working with them on their album, so it sounds like she's totally committed to that project.
Doesn't matter to me what she does as long as she's happy with it and we're getting new music. Rock on Carly!!!
Agreed that wikipedia is inaccurate about this - I have seen every tweet she's ever made and since she announced she was joining We Are The Fallen, she has never said she was re-starting her solo album.
She has several times said that she wanted to address people asking if she had "abandoned" her solo project & she says that she hadn't but was working that material into being a part of We Are The Fallen.
Check out her interview with Colorado radio from a couple weeks ago and you can hear her talk about it.
I hope that there would be a WATF CD and a Solo CD. But wikipedia isn't exactly reliable.
