While searching around the angels site I ran across the thread for other artists. Dont get me wrong...I love the long list of names that I had ran across....however.....I was utterly suprised that Cook wasnt one of them. Am I the only one who has just as strong of a love for everything about this man as I do for Carly?

On his official site there is a place where you can write why you are a fan......this is what I had to say.....
.I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...good music touches my soul. It's easy to turn on the radio and find someone who can carry a tune. But when you come across such a genuine artist that has so much passion for his music and performances, its not something you just walk away from.This man is the whole package...the real deal. A small town boy with such great passion life, that is out of this earth, and the size of his heart even bigger! The sound of his voice can do things to me that I can't even put to words. This man has changed me in so many ways and I owe him the world. I have watched him since his first audition on idol and have been hooked on cook ever since! However, a funny story that goes a long with it. I have never really been a huge follower of idol. The only other season I have watched was season 2 with Ruben and Clay. I have always loved watching auditions for the simple fact of seeing some of the crazies that try out (as mean as that may sound). Well...when I first saw David (granted this was before he ever opened his mouth and sang a note) I actually thought he was gonna be one of those crazies that they made fun of. But....the moment the music started to flow....my short lived t.v. love affair I had going with Michael Johns was quickly over...and I knew....it had to be Cook! He has progressed so much even through his short time on idol. The man is amazing! Between his music, and all the time he still puts into caring about all of his fans, I don't think there could be someone so perfect. He is real, humble, modest, and that just makes him even more sexy! Not to mention....he is not to bad to look at (I have a weakness for his butt....and his belly hehe) I only wish I could have met him before hollywood...to see what he was actually like outside of what the media protrays. Im sure he would amaze me just as much if not more! I can only imagine....... There is not a single song I have disliked of his, and I will support him until the end! So thank you David, for always chasing your dreams, showing the world your true talent, and always leaving room in your heart for all of us little people who love you so much!

I like him!! After Carly was voted off, I wanted him to go all the way!!! I never realized that there was no thread for him. But I LOVE his album, and my fave songs (all of them of course) but all time faves--Declaration, COme Back To Me, Lie, I Did It For You, Permanent, A Daily Anthem......i should just named off all the songs lol

I've loved him since his audition. Of course Carly + Kristy were my faves, but David is my favorite winner (after Kris). I support him, I have his CD. :)

I'm just happy to see other fans on this site who like him as much as I do! :D
