Correct the timeline or details as needed, I thought it was fascinating:

Carly was out with Kimberly Caldwell when she met Monique.

Carly met and befriended Monique Morrison at someone's birthday or a fund raiser??

Monique moved into Ben's house.

Carly and Monique were watching TV in Ben's house when she first met Ben and possibly another time.

Monique got separate but identical visions from Ben and Carly thus realizing Ben should meet Carly but he was not ready to "bite".

Ben wanted to create a new band in 2003 but the timing was not right. Ben had asked Rocky and John to create a band as well as Marty and then began looking for a singer, auditioning some in New York.

Ben jokingly? said John told him about Carly and that she was locked in his bathroom

Hannah Pestle who sang with Ben encouraged him to meet with Carly and showed him YouTube videos of Smithson performing. Ben "freaked out" after watching them.

Ben calls Monique to meet with Carly, coincidentally they were already together returning from a ? concert ~1AM. They met 20 minutes later.

Ben and Carly shared their exact visions for hours early in that morning, Ben asks her to join them.

Ben asked the guys who were in Arkansas to come back to LA for a couple of days to record with Carly. They jammed together singing Run In the Hills, Barracuda and ?. They felt right together and agreed they were a band. Ben said this is how you form a band and he has never been in a real band before. :lmao:

"We began looking for our soul mate, which we were scared was going to take a long long time. ... And it was just clear to me that we had found our better half," Moody said of meeting Smithson"

Carly gave it a day to talk to Todd and her manager, then joined the next (or later) that day.

Carly told her Idol friends and they were all shocked and happy for her.

They have been working on music for a couple of months.

They originally called themselves "The Fallen" but then changed it to "We are The Fallen" due to legal letter from another band of the same name.

They debuted at an LA recording studio, Marie, Jason Castro, and Todd were in the audience.

The fact that it took so many people being involved for this to happen makes me think that it was FATE that brought them together and everything worked out like it did. I really believe that this is what Carly was meant to do and I'm thrilled that she's so happy.
