Just heard it.... it's good... Carly sounds great as expected.. but I'm a little concerned.... it sounds very evanscence-ish (not necessarily a bad thing) and this gig COULD be perceived as some sort of attempt i) to "copy" eva ii) to "get back" at Amy lee (not involving Carly ofcourse.. but the former band members)... and this may turn off some fans...

I like the type of music Carly has chosen to do (this is basically the type of music that i thought suited her best)... and i REALLY hope this works out well for her... and it's one hell of an opportunity...and i'm really happy she landed this gig...but imho... they should try to come up with a bit more of an original angle to their music to set them apart from evanescnce.... even the whole image of the band is basically the same as Eva with Carly being a bit of gothic chick (btw goth chicks are SUPER HOT lol). Not saying they need to totally change everything... not even saying that their image and sounds isn't great....but perhaps they should try to come up with a sound to their music that sets them apart from eva... try to out-do eva...as opposed to copy the old style.


It's still early i know... and i'm sure that's what they're gonna try and do... so i really look forward to their songs/tours etc.

I looooove the song!!! And yes I'm a little worried about it being a little too Evanescence-ish. But I loved Evanescence and I love Carly so now I'm very happy!!!!

I just got the download email and it worked fine. The site was giving an error at first (probably got overloaded) but it's okay now. Did everyone else get their emails?

To follow up on what Omar was saying, I think this band will sound a bit like Ev's first album because Ben played a major role in making it. So I dont mind this band picking up where Ev left off back in 2003-04.
