Hey angels! This past friday I was listening to the radio, and the dj of the station i was listening to said to call in with music news. I tried soooo hard to get through to the station, I'm going to call again tomorrow and monday. My goal was just to share with them everything that has been in the news lately with Carly and information on the band- saying that she has paired with ex band members of evanescence to form a new band The Fallen. I wanted to suggest that maybe we all try and do this over the next weeks....calling into radio stations that play rock/soft rock music in each of our cities and telling them about our girl!
also if we do do this, we need to make sure not to say that Carly has replaced Amy Lee....this is a misconception and i have heard many negative things because of this assumption. Evanescence actually still exists, with Amy Lee being the only original member. I just want to make sure that if we call into radio stations that we make this clarification so that any Evanescene fans are not upset and are not turned away from Carly and The Fallen. Also, we can tell them about the single that will be available at www.wearethefallen.com

Awesome Idea....and I actually already called my local radio station to discuss the new news on Carly. I made sure what I said didn't come across as Carly is replacing Amy Lee. By the end of next week I want to call up another radio station and tell them the exciting news!!!

yeah thats awesome u got thru! yeah i keep calling but i always get put on hold....im gonna keep trying though for sure....yeah i want to make sure that people aren't under the impression that she is replacing amy lee.....have u looked at some stuff on youtube by evanescence fans...not good :/

OMG a friend of mine at work told me he heard them talking about The Fallen on a local rock station, and they are supposed to play Bury Me Alive today!

Mel's brother heard them talking about them on the radio last night and he played the song. The DJ got every single fact wrong, but beggars can't be choosers I guess.

You have to be careful about this because DJ's typically HATE die hard fans, so you have to be way casual.

I was like "Hey, do you have the song from that new band We Are The Fallen?" and the DJ was like "uhh...." and I told him I saw it on CNN that it was the guys that were in Evanescence and Carly Smithson and I really wanted to hear the song. And he put me on hold (probably to google them, lol) and came back and said he didn't have the song but was going to get it and thanked me for the tip.

It was later that day that Mels bro heard the song.

I was so excited when he said he had some "Carly news" that I got out my phone and Camera (just incase my voice notes didn't work, LOL) and I recorded it.

I have a website at home that everyone can use, all you have to do is type in your zip code and it'll come up with your local stations with numbers and email addresses. I will look it up tonight and post it here, won't be til 9pm est. til i get to though. so hang tight.
