Okay, I have been trying for ages to get Carly's Angels on the first page of Google. I just googled "Carly Smithson" and the site is the #2 result. Ahhhh!!!!

From what I've read, there's not much you can do to get your site higher on Google short of getting higher traffic. There are no tags or coding tricks or anything like that you can add to move yourself up.
What you need is good content & design (you got that) and then traffic (harder to control obviously) - we neeed to get those WATF'ers to pay a visit more often.

Yeah, I had it up pretty high and then I made some changes when WATF came out. So I didn't know if it was because of the changes I made or some other fluke of the Google algorithm...
One of the big things is being linked to by other sites. Not sure how to get good links from other sites.
