*NASHVILLE, TN Trip*
Hey Angels..if any of you are currently looking up hotels, airfares, etc... let us know in this thread if you find any good deals!!! I found a couple of great deals...It would be cool if everyone could stay in the same hotel, or at least stay in hotels which are close to one another.
Check out this website..Cheap Tickets...
http://www.cheaptickets.com/App/ViewHotelSearchResults?null&retrieveParams=true&z=da6&r=22&z=da8&r=24&lastPage=interstitial
The Radisson Hotel is about $60 a night which is awesome. I've stayed in several Radisson's all over the country, I would recommend it.
The Alexis Inn..I had a friend who stayed there before. She said it's a nice hotel, good service, cheap rates. It's only $61 per night.
GAS TRIP CALCULATOR
http://www.fuelcostcalculator.com/
Go to this website if you plan on driving to Nashville, it will calculate how much gas you will be spending if you decide to drive.
These hotel rates are pretty affordable, especially if you choose to room with someone and split the hotel costs...each person would be spending about $150 (max) for the weekend depending on how many days you choose to stay.
Let me know if you guys find more great deals, including airfares, rental cars, etc..

Hey Angels,
It has been brought up in many chat room discussions about us doing different activities while in Nashville because Nashville has such a heavy music scene and many want to see different sites, especially those who have never visited Nashville before. For this reason, we are looking into hotels to stay in, rather then camping out the entire time..if any of you that are DEFINATELY going on this trip still wish to do the camping thing, please PM myself or Cheryl and let us know.
Thanks everyone

those are some cool places..I have been to the Opryland Hotel, and it's a really nice place..Opry Mills mall is really great too..and I went to the Nashille Zoo last year for a school field trip, ad its really nice..I had a good time there
Also, there is the waterpark, Nashville Shores
www.nashvilleshores.com
We were at McDonald's yesterday, and my mom grabbed some coupons for Nashville Shores..I think it's like to get a couple dollars off admission or something, but she got at least 10 i think. and we could always pick up more if needed.
Also, the Country Music Hall of Fame is nice..I went there in 4th grade for a choir trip/performance, and it was a lot of fun..They had all kinds of stuff, including Elvis's Pink Cadillac, and some of his outfits..Unfortunately, the tickets to get in are pretty expensive :( Here is the site to check out the different stuff there

If i find any more places, I will post them.

Hey guys, please let us know your preference for lodging (camping, hotel downtown or cheaper hotel and driving downtown). Pinky, maybe you can make one of your famous polls in this thread. We discussed camping, but if no one wants to camp, I don't want to force it on anyone. We can set people up to share rooms and costs. I will share a room with someone if we end up in a hotel.
We'll pick one "official" hotel/campground and request adjoining or adjacent rooms/sites so everyone can attempt to stay together, but of course you are welcome to do whatever you want!

Hi Friends,
Well, it seems like a hotel is the popular choice! We found a good hotel for Nashville. This hotel is about $80 a night with 2 double beds and a kitchenette and a few miles from downtown. Of course you are welcome to share a room with someone to save money (post here if you need a roommate or pm your friends). You can also stay somewhere else if you like of course. I will be there Friday and Saturday nights. We'll meet up Saturday morning and spend the day together.

Since all I received on this trip is two "maybes" and given the news today, I think we are going to postpone this trip. If anyone has any pressing arguments, please email me. I'm not canceling La at this point.
