Well, first of all my name is Melanie and I'll be 29 in a couple of weeks. Probably seems kinda old to be obsessing over an Americal Idol contestant, but if there's one thing we can all agree on it's that Carly is no ordinary AI contestant. And considering I have a Celine Dion tattoo on the back of my neck it shouldn't be too much of a stretch that I am going all ga-ga over Carly! Right? Right! Carly is unique and fascinating and truly talented and so damn cute! It's indescribable how adorable this girl is! But anyway, back to my hopeless introduction. (I'll try not to get distracted by Carly and veer off topic again.) I am a huge fan of music in general. Some of my all-time favorites include: Celine, Tori Amos, Alanis Morissette, Tegan & Sara, Regina Spektor, Björk, and much more. I also love going to the movies, buying movies, talking about movies; pretty much any performing art. Some of my favorites include: The Silence of the Lambs, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Intolerable Cruelty, Chicago, Titanic, The Sound of Music...and so on. Catherine Zeta-Jones is my favorite actress & the hottest woman alive. Evangeline Lilly comes in a close 2nd for both titles. Its a 3-way tie for my favorite actor between Tom Hanks, John Cusack & Christian Bale. On a more personal note - I live with the owner & administrator of carlysangels.net because she is the love of my life and because she has such GREAT taste in music & women! Ha! My name is Cheryl and I am 26 (almost 27 - I'm getting old!) years old. It's been a long while since I've worked on a website. I started a Celine Dion site back when I was in high school and helped Melanie with her Catherine Zeta-Jones site a few years ago. First, I have to confess that I have never been a big fan of AI, but this season really got me! The reason was obviously this astonishing singer. I just think Carly's so cool and great, and I will definitely look forward to hearing more from her! I am twenty three, from Northern Europe and my music taste is quite similar to Carly's. I like big female vocals, rockers and artsy type of singers like Björk and Tori Amos, to name a few.

Since the very first time I saw her on tv which was the audition of this season's AI.

What attracted you to Carly?
Her beautiful and powerful voice, of course. Also her humble and positive attitude and great personality, and courage to be a bit different from the rest.

I have three favorites. Come Together, Crazy On You and Alone in the Hollywood week (I'm addicted to all of them).

Would you let Carly give you a tattoo? yep, I trust her with a needle more then I do doctors.

What do you think gives Carly her "star quality"? Her voice.. Her stage presence.. And her personality. She's the whole package dawg. B)

What is your favorite interview/quote of Carly's? What I miss most about home is my pots and pans. I’m like a kitchen gadget nut.

How do you think Carly gets along with the other Idols? I think she gets along with them great. She seems like such a sweet person and goofball and in Archie's words his mom away from home.

Do you find yourself saying words with an Irish accent? What words? All the time.. I can't say the word are right anymore.. It comes out in an accent and I get picked on it majorly for it. I went through that when I was about 4 as well. I sometimes slip up with Finaleh (Finale), Ahrange Jooc (Orange Juice), sook (suck).

How do you feel on performance night? Results night? I felt at ease most nights unless she was in the bottom 3. The first night she was in the bottom 3 I didn't know what to think.. Even the 2nd time and last time when she was voted off completely shocked me, but like she said she'd rather go out on a good performance then a bad one.

What is your favorite Carly outfit? I don't think I have one... I love how she dresses. It's so unique and honestly I only think she can pull it off.

Why do you love Carly's voice? I haven't quite figured that out.. I guess in a way she reminds me some of Pat Benatar and I grew up listening to her, but for the most part I just do.

On AmericanIdol.com when asked if she had any lucky charms, Carly said "Are you serious? I'm Irish. I'm sure I do." What do you think might be? Four leaf clover pendant or something with a four leaf clover on it. Lucky Charms.. No I'm kidding. I have no idea.

Carly, you honestly are an amazing performing and are extremely beautiful. You and Michael Johns both prove that you do NOT have to be American to come on American Idol to steal the show. You are just as equal as the rest of them.
Also, you are an amazing role model. I have so much respect for you for constantly going after dreams even though times you might have felt like giving up, you continued to work hard for your dreams under no circumstances and I look up to you for that and for all the hard work you've done.

  I can't be entirely sure but I think it would have been the Hollywood rounds, i dont think i watched before that, but she was definately my fav going into top 24, The Irish girl and the Aussie guy hehe.
• What attracted you to Carly?
  Well as soon as i heard her speak she got my attention because i just love accents but from the moment she sung i knew she was my pic to win. Her voice has everything i love in singers.

  Oh wow, um I loved Blackbird and thought Simon was mental that night. Um also Come together/Crazy on You and The Show must go on.

  What words? I put on accents all the time, but there has only been one weekend where i could actually pull off an Irish accent, but sometimes i manage a cross between scottish and irish

  Well cos i live in NZ, and we all ways get it late, by the time we get the results shows i have usually been spoilt so, usually i just feel angry cos the people i think deserve to leave manage to stay and the ones i love get kicked off way before their time. So yea Anger.
• What is your favorite Carly outfit?
  Oh Umm......I can't decide, sorry.
• Why do you love Carly's voice?
  Its just so amazing, she can do so much with it, you know? She can take it low and still go high too, it just has a beautiful quality to it. I love people who can belt it out and she has the voice for it.

But it's so funny, even Andrew Lloyd Weber said, "Oh look you have Amy Winehouse on your arm." HAHA.
