Just watched this weeks episode.


In real life Luke would have told Bex's solicitor what Clair had told him and that would have been brought up in court.

I cannot believe a Jury would have let Pete free after all the evidence.

I really hope that Pete will be brought to justice. Otherwise it will be projecting a really bad image......and will only help to encourage people not to report a rape ['cause they won't be believed or win their case...and their rapist will go free anyway!!!!] :( :(

Well, apparently this season has it's usual big finale, so hopefully justice will be carried out then!!

I shudder at the thought of Casualty finales. Every year it reminds me Bristol isnt a safe place to live and work :lol: Explosions, bombs, shootings, stabbings...

I remember one, it involed the female aussie doctor Lara and her boyfriend doctor. It was so obvious he had a head injury and was suffering from compression but she did not even spot it. He died as he was proposing to her.

I meant the courts take a very dim view of lying. So Pete walks away and claire could face a custodial sentence.

I also seem to recall so people who are convicted of perjury recieving more jail time then someone convicted of rape. Because a rapist can show remorse and such b*llocks and apologise and be let out on good behaviour but someone who has lied has to serve the full sentence as the parole board do not know whether they are being truthful.

Thats completely stupid!!! How can a rapist be trusted?????? The courts serously need to rethink their justice system, when stuff like this is happening!!!!

Well, technically you can'tbe tried for the same crime twice, so he won't be tried for Bex's case again.....he could still be for his ex-girlfriends though. Except it was a really long time ago, so there would be very little evidence - her word against his....

What happned with Bex?

I haven't seen Casualty in ages, I know Pete tried to attack her again in the hospital and the he fell down stairs and died and I also read somewhere that Luke was going to help Bex leave. But can anyone give me a run down of what exactly happened? Thanks.

yeh, basically Pete tried to attack Bex again on the stairs, she pushed him in self defence and he fell and died. Luke et al decided Bex couldn't go through another court case over this so they cover for her [getting ridda the CCTV tape etc.] and then he drove her to the coast, where he had arranged for her to go abroad....

....and that's the last we see of her!!

I'm sorry but the whole Pete Bex Claire luke saga got a bit OTT.

Pete hides the video tape in his glove box, Claire has gone from hating her brother to he was such an angel, after almost driving head-on into a passing truck i'm surprised charlie and luke even got into a car with claire again, and especially since she confronted them with the tape.

Still last weeks episode was good about organ donation. I choose the same as the rest of the country as I felt the girl had more of a life in front of her.

I havent been able to catch Casualty for a while... but Agency nurses can be full nurses as well just doing overtime I guess? Not that that makes any sense cos days off are to be cherished!!
